Chinook, el lobo gris

Chinook was named after a female wolf-dog hybrid that was rescued in 1993 by Darlene Kobobel hours before she was to be put down due to the 'wolf-hybrid' label. The wolf's rescue was the catalyst of the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, located in Divide, Colorado. Chinook passed away in 2007, but her legacy continues to drive awareness and conservation efforts for the species. Many of you may not realize that you're sitting on a very special aircraft. This is Frontier's 100th plane! In celebration of this milestone, as well as Frontier's hard work to become the Greenest Airline in North America - we chose Chinook as the tail mascot with the first-ever starry night backdrop.
