These Terms and Conditions set forth the specific procedures and policies applicable to the operation of flights to and from the U.S. and Mexico operated by Frontier Airlines and Volaris - Mexico as part of codeshare operations. These terms and conditions are in addition to those of each airline. For a codeshare flight, when there is a discrepancy between either airline's policies or procedures and these terms and conditions, this document applies to the codeshare flight.

Unless indicated below, the policies and procedures of the operating airline (that is, the airline whose aircraft you are flying on for that segment or leg of the codeshare itinerary) will apply.

Notifying Customers about Delays, Cancellations and Diversions

We provide our customers with information on delays, cancellations and diversions by any means available and through any means provided by you, as soon as any change is known: by e-mail, text, at airports, boarding gates and through airport screens (where available), through our crew members, airport personnel and our website.

When requesting information through Volaris’ telephone booking system, Volaris works to provide codeshare customers with timely and accurate flight information as soon as possible after a flight schedule change is known.

Suggestion: When making a reservation, it is important to provide all the requested data, especially your email address, so that in case of any change, you can be contacted. For more information about involuntary travel disruptions for Frontier Airlines visit: http://faq.flyfrontier.com/help/involuntary-cancel-or-change and for Volaris Airlines visit https://cms.volaris.com/globalassets/pdfs/eng/compensation-policy.pdf

Menores sin acompañante

Unaccompanied minors who are less than 15 years old are not accepted on codeshare flights.

Minors who are 15 years old or older may fly on codeshare flights, but escort service will not be provided.

Pregnant Women

For Volaris flights, pregnant women may travel without any restrictions during the first 35 weeks of pregnancy. As of 36th week of pregnancy, the pregnant passenger may travel by providing a medical certificate or by executing a release of responsibility in favor of Volaris, which will be available at the Volaris gate or ticket counter.

For Frontier flights, passengers who are pregnant are urged to consult with their doctor on whether it is safe to travel by air, including with due consideration to the possibility of turbulence, cabin pressurization, significantly increased risk of deep vein thrombosis associated with pregnancy, and lack of ready access to medical care. This is particularly important for women in their ninth month of pregnancy, who are urged to obtain an examination from their physician shortly before flying to confirm air travel will be safe. Women with a history of complications or premature delivery should not fly if pregnant. By traveling with Frontier, pregnant women acknowledge and accept these risks.

The Montreal Convention applies to codeshare flights, which means that the airline’s limit of liability, if any, for the loss, damage or delay in the carriage of baggage (whether checked or carry-on) is limited to 1,131 Special Drawing Rights per ticketed passenger. The conversion rate, available at www.imf.org, in effect on the date of loss will be used for determining maximum liability amount.
