Courtney the Cougar

While this large cat is known more for its purr than its roar, the cougar is still a large predator, weighing an average of 200lbs and able to run up to 45 mph. Cougars go by many names depending on the region and can vary in size and color as well. Cougars are nocturnal and are known to hunt from dusk till dawn - preying on anything from deer and foxes to small mammals and pets. Keep an eye out for Courtney and other cougars if you visit the West Coast.
