Choo the Pika

Found in the mountains of the western United States, the pika is a small rodent known for its round ears, stout body, and sharp, shrill sounds they make. Pikas are found at high elevations, with some living as high as 13,000 feet. Although they live in cold climates, pikas - like most rodents - do not hibernate and spend the fall months preparing to stay warm and fed during the winter.
