Buck the Pronghorn

Also called the North American Antelope, the pronghorn is found exclusively in North American plains, deserts, and basins and is not related to the antelope. Pronghorns are known for the stripes and markings on their faces and necks and their striking black horns. The horns are what make the pronghorn special - a combination of both antlers and horns, these are made of keratin like a horn, but shed yearly, like antlers. Next time you are in the grasslands or plains, look out for this beautiful deer and you might even spot Buck!
