Maria the Bald Eagle

Maria the Bald Eagle Plane

Maria the Bald Eagle is our second A321neo, second GTF-powered aircraft, and second of three special Pratt & Whitney liveries. The plane was named by Pratt & Whitney employees in honor of sustainable aviation pioneer Maria Della Posta, president of Pratt & Whitney Canada. Maria is the first woman to lead a P&W business unit. Her division is on the forefront of technology and innovation for more sustainable aviation. The aircraft marks the second of 144 A320neo family aircraft - 134 purchased and 10 leased - for which Frontier has selected Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines.

At Frontier, our standards are environmentally focused. We are working hard to reduce our environmental footprint as much possible and to set a new greener standard for travel.
