Found exclusively in the Northern Hemisphere, the polar bear is the world's largest terrestrial carnivore. Polar bears are solitary, only coming together to breed. A very tidy breed, polar bears are known to bathe immediately after feeding - it's what it takes to keep their coat so luxurious. Although that luxurious fur is thought to be white, it is actually transparent and hollow, which allows them to survive the harsh cold of the Arctic Ocean. As one of the most at risk species on the planet right now, take time to say hi to Blanco and the fuel-efficient plane he flies on.
